Medium sized pub which dates back to the 19th century when it was known as Brandy Vaults.

Large outside beer garden area now open to the front of the pub.

The pub has a modern and upmarket look with an L shaped wooden bar, cast iron pillars and a wooden floor.

The bar is bright and airy through the day with large glass windows to the front and side.

In the evening the low drop down lighting gives the bar a more subdued and cosy atmosphere. The decor is a mixture of beige and red colours.

The main bar has booths by the window and several wooden tables and chairs, there are some high stools next to the bar.

There is a small raised area to the left hand side of the bar with additional comfortable lounge seating.

The small corner area to the right of the bar has further seating.

Regular music is on play at most times with a DJ on a Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday. Karaoke night on first Thursday of the month.

The raised area near to the left of the bar can be used, free of charge, for meetings or small parties.

It hold's about 25 people - catering can be provided on request.

There is a good atmosphere most of the time as the pub is busy with a mixed clientele, and is also a popular haunt for real ale drinkers.

Disabled access is very good as there is a special entrance in the middle of the pub. Toilets are small and clean. The pub is air conditioned.

Price: Moderate.
