Very large bar from the Stonegate pubs chain that was formerly Parisa Cafe Bar. The bar is one of the most impressive on the Quayside.
The furnishings and decor are superb and up market with pastel colours throughout. There is a bright and airy feel to the pub with large windows overlooking the Tyne to the front. The bar has extensive seating throughout with modern wooden tables and chairs in three separate areas. The lower level is largely used by diners. This leads through to two alcoved seating areas at the rear. The pub has a long wooden bar and a wooden floor. There is also a small comfortable lounge seating area with leather settees near to the main entrance. The walls are adorned modern style pictures. Regular music on play at most times. The bar can be hired for parties or meetings with buffet menus provided. There is a small outside terrace seating area to the front of the bar that is used in fine weather. Hen & Stags packages are available. Free Wifi. Disabled access to the bar is difficult as there are steps leading to the main entrance. A designated disabled toilet with baby changing facilities is located in the front part of the bar. Toilets are very smart and clean. Price: Moderate. |
