Large corner pub that was formerly known as Ye Olde Jockey and more recently Northern Lights.

The pub has two entrances to the front and side with a long rectangular bar.

Large outside seating area to rear of the pub.

The decor is of a modern style with a wooden and part carpeted floor with drop down lighting over the bar.

There is plenty of seating throughout with high tables and chairs and stools by the bar.

There are some booths along the window for groups.

Regular music is on play with a juke box situated next to the bar.

An open MIC night is held every Monday from 8.30pm.

Live Sports shown with live premiership football on a big screen and several widescreen TV's throughout the bar.

Quiz night every Thursday from 7.30pm. Free WiFi available throughout the bar.

The pub is popular at most times of the day and attracts mainly a student crowd, locals and Gosforth revellers.

Disabled access to the main bar is very good with a designated disabled toilet. Toilets are small and clean.
