The Purple Bear which was originally destined to move into The Fleet Street premises opened its doors on 22nd March 17 in Prudhoe Chare.
The bar offers a selecton of BBQ dishes, burgers, salads and snacks as well a a good range of keg and cask beers.
A quiz night is held every Thursday from 8pm.
Functions and parties can be arranged on request.
Disabled access difficult as the bar is down a long flight of stairs. Toilets at the bottom of the stairs are small and reasonable.
