A prominent member of the Pink Triangle/Gay Village scene that is described as Newcastle's trendiest bar.

The pub is easy distinguishable with its colourful Switch logo outside, above the main entrance.

The glass windows to the front give a bright and airy feel to the place.

The bar is decorated in a modern style with a smart curved shaped bar and the floor partly carpeted, wooden and tiled.

The decor is a mixture of mustard and maroon colours with a stylish lighting system.

There is plenty of seating throughout with tables and chairs and high stools along the bar.

A small stage is located opposite to the bar where the DJ booth is also situated. A large drop down screen is also housed in this area showing music videos.

Regular music is on play at most times with a regular DJ every night playing a mix of chart, dance, house and pop classics.

To the rear of the pub there is some games machines and the toilets can also be found in this area.

The pub attracts a mixed clientele and has become a firm favouritein this area. It is very busy on a weekend with a late licence to 3am on a Saturday.

Disabled access to the pub is very good with a designated disabled toilet. Toilets are small and clean.

Price: Moderate.
