Large cocktail bar with a palatial entrance and huge rooms that was formerly known as the Union Rooms and more recently Okana.

The bar has been given another full revamp by its new owners on its transition to Liberty House.

A large staircase with a beautiful stained glass window at the top leads to an upstairs bar and eating area. There are two further bars downstairs.

The rear ground floor Sports Room bar is bright and airy due to a perspex roof. There are plenty of tables and chairs in this area for diners.

Two smaller lounge areas leading off from here have comfortable seating and a cosy atmosphere and are popular with diners.

The main bar is huge with a high ceiling and tall pillars that are a notable feature. There is some seating to the front and plenty of standing room.

Live sports including live Sky Sports football and Six Nations rugby matches is shown in the Sports Room which can be hired for a special event. There is a pool table in the room to the side.

The pub is very popular bar with a mixed clientele of students, locals, business crowd and tourists.

It is extremely busy at all times, especially at the weekend. There is a large outside seating area to the front of the pub that is open in fine weather to 6pm.

Disabled access is excellent with an entrance at the side door - ring bell and a designated disabled toilet at the rear. Toilets on both floors are smart and clean.
