Large bar that was formerly known as Bar at the Brandling located in Brandling Village.
The bar is a popular local and student venue in the Jesmond area offering daily special deals on food and drinks.
The decor is of a modern design with exposed brickwork and cream colours with a part carpeted/wooden floor. There is small suspended lighting throughout with candles on tables in the evening and lighting underneath the bar.
The bar has plenty of seating throughout for diners with small booths in the main bar area and further seating to the left of the bar.
There is a smart conservatory next to the main bar with further seating that leads onto the outside seating area. This has wooden tables, benches and chairs and has lighting so can be used in the evening when the weather is fine.
Regular music is on play at most times with live music artists performing in the area between the conservatory and main bar. Vinyl night - Live music on a Friday night from 4pm. Sunday afternoon with local talent live from 5pm.
The bar attracts a mixed clientele of students, locals and business people and is busy at most times, especially on the weekend. It is a popular venue and is close enough to the main area of Jesmond to make it a good starting off or finishing point on a trawl around the bars.
