Large pub situated two miles from the centre of Newcastle in South Gosforth.
This traditional Newcastle pub has a good range of cask ales on offer and is a very popular venue for Live Sports. The pub has 3 entrances to the front, side and rear and is open plan with a long bar and a big screen at either end. There is plenty of seating throughout the pub for diners with a reasonably priced menu on offer. The decor and fixtures is of a traditional style with low drop down lighting over the bar. The pub attracts a steady crowd of locals and regulars. It is also a popular hangout for students. The pub is busy at most times of the day, especially with students when there are live music events.
