Cocktail bar in The Central Station area that was previously known as The Long Bar and more recently The Waiting Rooms.

The bar which is part of the Stonegate Pubs chain has been given a full revamp and offers a fine range of real ales, craft beers, wines and gins.

There is a long bar to the left of the main entrance with a part tile and wooden floor and smart drop down lighting fixtures over the bar.

The glass exterior gives a bright feel to the bar by day and in the evening there is more subdued and cosy atmosphere.

There is plenty of seating throughout the bar with a mixture of booths and seating by the window as well as high tables and chairs.

The bar is split into two tiers with a separate area at the rear which has a further bar and looks out towards the Station Hotel.

There are 3 widescreen TV's in the main bar area that make for an excellent place to watch sporting events.

Live football matches are shown with premiership matches featured.

The bar attracts a mixed clientele of business people, young crowd, students and those watching the football.

It is a good starting out place on a night out and is a popular attraction to this area with the fine range of drinks available.

The bar is extremely busy on a weekend and also through the week. Regular music on play at most times.

There is a small outside patio and smoking area. Dogs allowed. Free WiFi throughout the bar.

Disabled access is very good with a designated disabled toilet next to the main entrance. Toilets are very smart and clean.

Price: Moderate.
