Large bar and brasserie located on Grey Street that was previously known as Browns.
The bar is very stylish throughout with an impressive frontage of large glass doors that lead through to the main bar area. There is plenty of seating throughout with a raised area to the right of the bar containing tables and chairs. The main bar area is o the left of the entrance where there is plenty of seating for diners. The bar has a very high ceiling with a long bar with stylish lighting throughout. There is regular music on play at most times. The bar attracts a mixed crowd of business people and upmarket clientele. It is also a popular pre-theatre bar with it being opposte to the Theatre Royal. There is a nice comfortable atmosphere with subdued lighting in the evening. It is busy at most times of the day. The bar is fully air conditioned throughout. There is a small outside terrace to the front and a large rear garden terrace area which has waiter service and is popular during the summer months. Disabled access is very good to the main bar with a designated disabled toilet to the rear of the bar. The toilets are very smart and clean. Price: Moderate. |
