Bar Cafe which is part of the Tyneside Cinema.

The Bar Cafe features live music, movies, quiz and DJ nights take place every week.

The unique screening and performance area presents a regular programme of films and live events - which also include free screenings of cult movies every Monday evening.

Live music and a DJ is a regular feature every Friday and Saturday night after 9pm. Every Friday from 9pm a local guest DJ is featured.

You can even catch a cinema classic every Sunday morning to accompany the delicious and leisurely Sunday brunch served if the Bar Cafe.

There is a film, music, art and culture, and general knowledge quiz held every Tuesday night from 9pm. Free Wifi throughout bar.

Club Nights, every Saturday night from 9pm in the Bar Cafe with free entry.

Every Sunday at 11:30am you can enjoy a free classic movie.

Every Monday there is free screenings of the finest Cult Films at 9pm.

The place can get very busy at times with the reasonable priced menu on offer and events throughout the week with free screenings of films so get there early to ensure a seat.
