New karaoke music bar close to The Centre For Life that opened on 30th May 2025.

The bar was formerly known as the 'Barking Dog', 'The Dog', Central and more recently 'Queens'.

The decor is primarily of a modern style with Newcastle pictures with a small bar and black and white chevron flooring.

By day the bar is bright and airy as there are windows to the front and side.

In the evening there is a more subdued atmosphere with smart drop down lighting throughout the bar.

There is some tables and chairs and high seating around the bar and to the side of the pub.

Regular music is on play at most times with a DJ on play on most nights - the DJ booth is located in a corner opposite to the bar.

Karaoke is a regular held throughout the week with self service karaoke machines upstairs.

The pub should be very busy at weekends and in the evening.

Disabled access to main bar is very good as the bar is all on the one level. Toilets are smart and clean.

Price: Moderate.
