The bar is part of the Gainford Group chain of hotels and is linked to the County Hotel. On entering the bar there are two torches outside with impressive glass doors and a large bar to the right.
The bar has a bright and airy feel to the interior with a high ceiling and large glass windows with elegant chandalier lighting.
There is some high seating around the bar area and by the windows there is comfortable leather settees.
There is also a small seating area opposite the main entrance with tables and chairs.
Behind the bar there is a large glass mirror area giving a more expansive feel to the place.
Two widescreen TV's are located either side of the bar and a large screen by the main entrance.

The bar is really busy at weekends but is a lttle quieter through the week although this can change when there are events on.
It is frequented by business clientele and hotel guests staying at the County Hotel.
It makes for a good stopping off point on the way to and from the station or to the other bar and pubs in the Central Station area.
Excellent disabled access with a ramp at the main entrance leading through to the restaurant at the rear.
There is an entrance inside the bar that leads through to the hotel. Toilets at the rear are very smart and clean.
A small outside seating area is open in fine weather.
