Review:
Large pub that is situated on the main road through Gosforth.
From the main entrance the bar is directly opposite.
The pub has plenty of seating throughout with tables
and chairs and more comfortable settees. The main emphasis is on providing meals with a range of specials and vegetarian meals
on offer as well the main menu choice until 10pm. The bar is tastefully decorated and the decor
is of a modern style with pastel colours. There is a wooden floor throughout with drop down lighting over the bar.
A TV is located opposite at the front of the bar. A selection of games are available. Quiz night every Wednesday from 7.30pm
(£2 entry per team).
There is a large outside seating area that is heated at the front which is used in fine weather.
A no smoking beer garden is to the rear of the pub.
The bar attracts a steady crowd of regulars, business people, locals and students. It get's very busy in the
evening and at the weekend.
Disabled access to the main bar is very good with a designated disabled
toilet to the right of the bar. Toilets are small and clean - Ladies upstairs.

Persons under the age of 18 are welcome until 8 pm If accompanied by an adult, baby changing facilities in disabled toilet area – ask at the bar for key. Meals are available as smaller portions for children.
