Small corner cabaret & cocktail bar close to The Centre For Life.

The bar was formerly known as the 'Barking Dog', 'The Dog' and more recently 'Central'.

The decor is primarily of a modern style with blue colours and a small bar and wooden flooring.

By day the bar is bright and airy as there are windows to the front and side.

In the evening there is a more subdued atmosphere with smart drop down lighting throughout the bar.

There is some tables and chairs and high seating around the bar and to the side of the pub.

Regular music is on play at most times with a DJ on play on most nights - the DJ booth is located in a corner opposite to the bar.

Cabaret evenings are held on certain nights throughout the week. The pub is very busy at weekends and in the evening.

It attracts a mixed crowd of gays and straights and is recognised as a warm up bar on the gay scene.

Disabled access to main bar is very good as the bar is all on the one level. Toilets are smart and clean.

Price: Moderate.
