Medium sized corner bar that is part of the Premier Inn Hotel and is an excellent place to stay on the Quayside.
The pub has a semi-circular wooden bar with a partly carpeted and wooden floor. There is plenty of seating throughout with tables and chairs. The bar is bright and airy with large windows to the front and side which provide a good view of the River Tyne. The decor is modern with a smart ornate ceiling and there is low drop down lighting. There are modern pictures and mirrors on the walls that give a more expansive feel to the place. To the rear of the pub is a separate raised dining area with plenty of tables and chairs which can be used by hotel guests or visitors. This leads through to the main part of the hotel. There are several games machines dotted about the bar. The pub attracts a steady throng of hotel residents and is also popular with the young crowd. It can get busy on most nights and is especially busy at the weekend. Disabled access is excellent as there is a lift to all floors of the Premier Lodge. Toilets are very smart and clean.
