A magnificent Grade 1 listed building in the Central Station that has been restored to its former glory as the first class passenger waiting room.

The pub can be accessed from the main station concourse or the front entrance on Neville Street.

The interior of the bar is beautifully decked out with the original ceramic tiling on the walls.

At one end there is a semi circular bar with high tables and chairs and a spacious standing area around the side.

To the right of the main entrance there is a large area with plenty of low level seating available.

There is a deli/cafe is adjacent to the main bar that has additional seating for diners and extends on to the station concourse.

A snug bar is also located behind the main bar. This has small bar with comfortable lounge seating and a small fireplace.

The high ornate 40ft high ceiling and glass sky light give a spacious feel to the pub and there are several large fans making it bright and airy.

Live sports including all live football is now shown on a large drop down screen at one end of the pub and there are 2 widescreen TV's at either side of the bar.

When sports are shown there is a retractable canopy in the ceiling that closes to remove any glare on the screen.

The pub is very popular with the business crowd and rail commuters, with people passing through. It can also get very busy in the cafe bar area.

Room hire is available in the Ridley Lounge or the the Stephenson Lounge.

An open MIC night is a regular feature on a Tuesday from 8.30pm, in a raised area overlooking the bar.

Disabled access is excellent and there is also baby changing facilities available. Toilets are very smart and clean - ask for the key at the bar.

Price: Expensive.
