Small Basement bar that is located next to the Monument downstairs to The Charles Grey.
Late night Trebles bar where the door policy is mainly to allow Students. Tried to gain access to the bar twice but was told by doorman to go upstairs to Charles Grey. A disappointing stance for this bar. Should be renamed Students Trebles Bar and once the Students' money runs out I expect the bar will have a re-think of their policy. Apparently there is a party night 7 nights a week with the biggest Student night in Newcastle ????. The DJ's are rumoured to be playing a mix of student anthems, chart, indie and rock. Attracts mainly students and anyone else that can get in!. Overall a big let down and things can only improve once the Freshers have tired of this place. Disabled access is difficult as down a flight of stairs. Price: Moderate. |
