Small modern bar that is part of the Cairn Hotel.
The bar is smartly decked out with modern fixtures and fitments and has a elegant glass
entrance. This leads through to a long narrow room
with a u-shaped bar on the right hand side. There is plenty
of seating throughout with modern tables and chairs, chesterfields
and leather high
backed seating against the walls. There is also some small booths to one side.
The bar has a wooden floor throughout and the place has been extended slightly
and now has a larger bar. To
the front there is a small area that has more
comfortable seating. There are several
widescreen TV's on show to the
front, centre and rear of the bar with live
football featured.
Outside
there is a large seating area with several tables
and chairs, canopies and heated lamps. The bar is very popular
at the weekend with the young crowd and students,
when the outside area is usually packed. It is
noticeably quieter through the week early doors. Disabled access
is very good with the bar all on the one level.
Toilets are small and clean.
Price:
Moderate.
