Review:
Medium
sized bar that is a popular venue in the Gate.
The
bar was formerly known as M.A Potters
restaurant. It is decked out in a Moroccan/middle
eastern style with dark subdued lighting. From the
main entrance there is a horseshoe bar directly
facing and a small lounge area to the right hand
side.
There is plenty of seating throughout for diners. The bar also
has ample standing space. A small raised dance
floor is located to the left of the main entrance.
Regular music with a DJ on play and can be extra loud at
times. There are several TV's located throughout.
Live sports are shown with Live premiership football featured. Match day specials are available with reductions
on food and drink. The bar attracts a mixed crowd of people visiting
the other Gate bars and cinema. It can be
busy at most times especially in the evening, with
The Gate having several late licence bars close together.
Disabled access
is very good with a designated disabled toilet at
the rear. Toilets are small and clean.
Beers:
Beers on tap include Tetleys Extra Cold, San Miguel, Carlsberg Export,
Carlsberg and Guinness. Woodpecker cider also on offer. An excellent selection of bottled drinks,
wines, cocktails, shooters, champagnes and spirits also available.

Food
served Monday - Saturday 11am - 7pm, Sunday noon -7pm. Meals include something light £1.00 - £5.50,
something main £5.75 - £7.95 or something sweet £3.00, sandwiches £5.00. toasties 2 filings for £3.00 (extra fillings 75p),
homemade soup £2.95.
Tea and coffee is also available £1.20 - £3.00. See
the blackboard for the daily selection of specials. Special offer until 7pm with 2 meals for £7.50.
Sunday lunch is served from noon - 7pm with 3 courses for £10.00.
